It is set three years after Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, with Drake now on the hunt for Henry Avery's treasure alongside his older brother, Sam. It's a fast and exciting challenge, constantly keeping you on your toes as you ricochet from gunning down grunts to tackling supernatural forces.Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is the fourth game in the Uncharted series by Naughty Dog. Players' objectives change each wave, as can weapons, enemy type, and conditions. This is a modification of the previous Survival – a co-op rather than versus mode, where players teamed up against waves of enemies – that constantly adapts with each fresh surge of opponents. However, there is one wholly new addition: the Survival Arena mode. It's a nice touch, but one that mainly caters to Uncharted obsessives, as the differences are largely cosmetic. Additional characters to play as in the various multiplayer modes - and new skins for them - are also unlockable, adding even more variety. It's also practically endlessly customisable, with a multitude of loadouts, boosts, and other modifiers that borders on the daunting. Effectively, the game offers the same suite of online options as Uncharted 4 did, with the likes of Bounty Hunter (teams alternate between hunting or protecting a captain, and collecting the spoils dropped by downed foes), Command (teams of five players each battle over three command zones, gaining points for each second one is held), Plunder (taking a cue from the franchise's treasure hunting, teams race to steal valuable idols), and Team Deathmatch (does what it says on the tin) making their return.įor anyone who's dabbled in Uncharted 4's multiplayer, there aren't really any surprises to be found here, though newcomers will be pleased to discover that the third-person gunplay and team mechanics offer some of the most underrated and enjoyable online action out there. Like the solo experience, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy's multiplayer offerings don't really rock the boat.
